    The Princeton Coffeehouse welcomes back Nashville duo Jeff & Vida. The New York Times Magazine calls their music "real and true...the songs you long to hear late at night on the interstate, in poolhalls and smoky whiskey bars". Doors open at 7:00 PM. There are no advance ticket sales.

    Living History artisans, battle reenactments, storytellers, Period dance, Period fashion show, and the 33rd Illinois Volunteer Regiment Band.

    BCUW 2011 Campaign Chicago Bears "Kick Off" event - Bags Tournament ($20.00 per team) cash prize to winner; Craziest Fan Costume; 2 Official NFL footballs autographed by Devin Hester & Matt Forte will be auctioned; music; food; 50/50 drawing.

  • 09/25/2010 - Heather Waters in concert
    The Princeton Coffeehouse presents singer-songwriter Heather Waters live in concert. The L.A. Daily News has raved about her "sigh-catching voice as evocative as Emmylou Harris'", while the Boston Globe has written that she "couldn't hit a sour note if she tried". Doors open at 7:00 PM. There are no advance ticket sales.

  • 09/25/2010 - Princeton KidLit 2010
    A fun-filled day of games, activities and food designed to celebrate the joy of children's literature. Newbery award winning author Richard Peck will be in attendance along with many other Illinois children's authors. Storytelling, panel discussions, author readings and signings round out the day's events.

  • 09/18/2010 - Improv Comedy Workshop for Bureau Co. High School Students
    The Chicago Improv Festival will present a special program on improvisational theater in all of its multi-disciplinary expressions. This program is open to all Bureau County area High School students and teachers.
    This program is being funded by a grant from the Sun Foundation and the Illinois Arts Council.

    All of the artwork in this special exhibit has been loaned to the Prairie Arts Council by local owners who are generously sharing their personal collections of paintings, sketches, watercolors and more.
