02/04/2012 - PES Plays "Play It Forward" Event
The PES Plays group is hosting an event to benefit the goal of raising money for new playgrounds for 3 of the Princeton Elementary Schools. The evening will be filled with entertainment, food and fun. Dinner and dessert is included in the ticket price as well as an evening full of entertainment. There will be games, prizes, a raffle drawing and auctions. Please come out to support the playgrounds and the children in this town. We hope you can 'Play It Forward'. Tickets will be available at Reagan, Lincoln and Jefferson school offices or, you can send a message to our website and we can have tickets delivered to you (within city limits) www.pesplays.com

The Princeton Coffeehouse presents Stacey Earle & Mark Stuart in concert. Both Stacey & Mark are veterans of Steve's Earle's band, the Dukes. Mark grew up playing in Nashville honky tonks and has also played guitar for performers such as Steve Forbert and Freddy Fender. Stacey, who has recorded duets with her brother, has a voice that has been described as 'a mercurial marriage of spun-glass fragility and molasses-thick Deep South twang' (The Scotsman). Coffeehouse shows are held at Open Prairie United Church of Christ, 25 E. Marion St. in downtown Princeton.

The Princeton Coffeehouse presents Dana & Susan Robinson in concert. The Robinsons bring tight harmonies, guitar, banjo & fiddle to the stage, which have earned comparisons to Woody Guthrie (Dirty Linen magazine) and other 'great folksingers of our times' (The Asheville Citizen-Times). Their latest album, Big Mystery, has been called 'an unpretentious gem' by Rob Weir of Off-Center View. Coffeehouse performances are held at Open Prairie United Church of Christ, located at 25 E.
